Energy Management
schlaeger has established itself as a pioneer in energy management through the efficient use of renewable energy and the continuous optimization of our production processes—the result: CO₂-neutral production in accordance with the GHG Protocol Scope 1 & 2 (compensation <3%).
The energy efficiency we have achieved—with savings of 42%—has already attracted significant attention in industry, academia, and politics. However, we do not view this as a one-time success: With every new project, we work as a team to achieve these results from the ground up, firmly integrating them into our daily work.
We are carbon neutral
since 2019
By transitioning to renewable energy, modernizing our infrastructure, and adopting innovative technologies, we have been able to significantly reduce our energy consumption. We constantly evaluate all our processes, machinery, and developments to ensure we always find the most efficient and environmentally friendly solutions.
Thanks to the tireless efforts of our team, we have achieved this goal after approximately 12 years of intensive optimization—including through the consistent reduction of energy consumption in production. Since 2019, we have been producing in a carbon-neutral manner in accordance with GHG Scope 1 & 2 (<3% compensation) standards.

Reduce, Reuse, Recycle:
Material cycleResource conservation is a central component of our production strategy. Our goal is not only to minimize waste, but also to reuse components and machine parts as much as possible. In our own recycling projects, for example, sprues are ground down and specifically used in the production of durable, injection-molded auxiliary components. This creates an efficient material cycle that combines sustainability with cost-effectiveness.
